AIM
AIM (Accountability, Involvement, Modernization) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to restoring transparency, integrity, and efficiency in local government. Founded by concerned residents, veterans, business leaders, and civic advocates, AIM was born out of a simple but urgent belief: Will County taxpayers deserve to know how their government is working β and when itβs not.
We track and expose legislative actions, executive decisions, and financial practices that often go unnoticed by the public but have a direct impact on your daily life β from rising property taxes and hidden fees to unchecked spending, closed-door deals, and politically motivated appointments.
This is not a partisan platform.
This is a citizen-powered movement for truth, accountability, and modernization in local governance.
SwampDrainers - Watchdog initiative and Investigative Reports
We research, document, and expose actions taken by elected bodies and government administrators that misuse public trust or taxpayer funds.
Budget and Policy Analysis
We break down complex budgets and policy proposals into clear, understandable language so residents know exactly where their money is going β and why.
Public Awareness
Through social media, community outreach, and a growing subscriber base on Substack, we keep the public informed with updates, calls to action, and tools to get involved.
Nonpartisan Collaboration
We work with watchdog groups, local leaders, and concerned citizens regardless of political affiliation. Our loyalty is to the truth β not to a party or personality.
For too long, local government has operated in a bubble of low public engagement and little accountability. Voter turnout is low. Budgets are bloated. And decisions are often made behind closed doors.
AIM is here to change that.
We shine light in dark corners, amplify citizen voices, and hold those in power to the same standards they promised when they were elected.
Whether you're a resident who wants to stay informed, a whistleblower with information to share, or someone ready to speak up at the next public meeting β you are AIM.
This movement only works when more people get involved.
And weβre just getting started.
